Data visualisation is becoming an important area of research, focusing on the use of visualisation techniques that help people to better understand and analyse data. In our case we will centre on the business area. Visualisation is the interface between two powerful information systems: the human mind and computers (Gershom et al., 1998).

- Learn about data visualisation principles
- Become familiar with the different data visualisation techniques and systems in the business world.
- Develop the skills to critically analyse the different visualisation techniques applied.
