COURSE CONTRIBUTION TO PROGRAM

In an increasingly globalised world business is not only undertaken at a regional level or solely with neighbouring countries, but on a much wider scale.

As such, versatile and multilingual communication skills are necessary along with a broad and varied cultural training.

Globalisation also affects the job market, there is ever greater competition and, ESADE graduates not only compete with others from Spain but those from around the world, students who, in many cases, are multilingual and are culturally sensitive due to numerous stays abroad.

Acquiring a third language will also allow students to undertake their university education in a foreign country (a country in which it is spoken). With regard to the job market, having a foreign language such as German allows students to present themselves to job openings in German-speaking companies and thus be able to find work in any part of the world.

Deutsch 4 is the fourth of 6 courses in German designed to meet these ends. Upon successfully completing this course students will have the equivalent B1 level within the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for languages.
