Course Learning Objectives

The course aims to give students a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the economic and business environment in China. We will discuss whether China is a good place for investment, help to understand Chinese new initiative of One Belt One Road and new opportunities. We will also look into how international businesses operate in China and how Chinese firms develop their internationalization strategies through cases. Industry speakers are invited to offer live cases. In addition, we will introduce the basic concept of business model, and discuss how business model of entrepreneurial firms or MNEs can be adapted to the Chinese business context.
