Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites. Students will work with their own laptops in class using a remote desktop environment.
Previous Knowledge
General knowledge of Excel spreadsheet with experienced user level.
COURSE CONTRIBUTION TO PROGRAM
Excel Programming with VBA provides students with capabilities that exceed those of most Excel users (including those who have completed different Master programs), being able to develop models and applications that would be impossible otherwise.
Course Learning Objectives
This is an introductory programming course that will enable students to develop Excel applications to a level above the average; both for own use and for third parties.

5. Excel Data Model. |
6. Developing applications in Excel. |
7. Development environment (VBE). |
8. Creating procedures. |
9. Creating functions. |
10. Working with forms. |
11. Developing user-oriented applications. |
Methodology
Participatory classes, where through the development of a set of cases the students are acquiring knowledge about the tool. The necessary theoretical concepts are introduced as they are needed.
Assessment criteria
Attendance and participation in class (25%).
Students will deliver a summary / commentary of each session (25%).
Final work: an application showing the teachings of the course (50%).
