Course Learning Objectives

The learning objectives for the Operations and Data Science for Sustainability course are:

- Understanding the basic concepts and techniques in operations and supply chain management.
- Reflecting on the challenges related to environmental and social sustainability in operations and supply chains.
- Applying operations management techniques to manage trade-offs between efficiency and sustainability performance in operations and supply chains.
- Analyzing data to take decisions to improving sustainability performance in business processes, such as supply chain management, logistics, and production.

Methodology

In this course we will use a mix of methodologies ranging from case studies, simulations, debates and practical exercises.

Assessment criteria

The assessment criteria are:
- 20% individual participation
- 40% individual activities and exam
- 40% group assignments
