Teamwork.
Course Learning Objectives
Students taking this subject will:
Learn how to analyse and solve complex problems through consultancy methodology.
Know the NGO sector by developing a real project.
Increase their social commitment and be conscious about the impact their decisions will make on environment and society.
Methodology
The subject follows a Service-Learning approach: students will acquire competences that will be applied in a real project carried out in collaboration with a NGO. With this methodology, students will deeply acquire all competences and, at the same time, they will contribute to social development.
The project will be developed in teams. Each team will have a senior consultant as the team mentor.
Assessment criteria
There won't be an exam. All evaluation will be based on practical cases.
40% problem solving competence (assessed through the development of the project and other cases).
40% social commitment (assessed through the development of the project and an individual reflection at the end of the subject).
20% of individual and team performance (peer evaluation).
