This is a particiaptory case-based course where prereadings are mandatory. There will be required readings for each session. These should be completed beforehand and you should be prepared to discuss them in class. They will be brief and interesting and you should therefore make an effort to read them. You will get much more out of the class if you do.
COURSE CONTRIBUTION TO PROGRAM
This course aims at providing a solid basis to understand globalization from a political economy perspective. Importantly, special attention is given to businesses. The course takes on an applied approach and will cover different topics related to globalization. These topics will be analyzed from a political economy angle.

Methodology
The methodology will consist of a combination of lectures and class exercises. It is designed to encourage student's active participation.
Assessment criteria
Course evaluation will consist of:
- 15%: class participation
- 15%: quizzes
- 35%: case deliveries in groups
- 35%: exam
