COURSE CONTRIBUTION TO PROGRAM

When you use social media, shop fashion, taste sustainable food, rent a mobility service, get an electronic device, or even book holidays, you are in the B2C exchange (selling of products, services and solutions directly to you, the final consumer).

But for everyone B2C transactions (Business-to-Consumer) there are dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of B2B (Business to Business) transactions that must happen first.

B2B companies exists in every industry, and every B2C company generates B2B activity.

But what's going on behind the scenes? ? an amazing world to discover at your hands!

The B2B market is vast. There is complete universe of strategies, processes, transactions and so on and so forth working in a coordinated way, like an ecosystem, for delivering the product, service, and solutions to the provider/wholesaler/retailer/ etc. that ends up in a final consumer.

Discover how AWS, INTEL, NIKE, VOLKSWAGEN, and many other companies, including startups or scaleups, are taking advantage of the B2B ecosystems to become more efficient and sustainable in the new Impact Economy.

When you finish this elective, you will clearly understand the main differences between the B2C and B2B, both theoretical and practical, also you will discover the portfolio of job opportunities behind B2B and will be ready for apply and compete for any managerial position in this huge world.

Methodology

To achieve the objectives of the course, we use a wide range of active & dynamic methodology, based on the learning by doing approach: lecturers, exercises,videos, case discussion, on-line quizzes, work group, and final pitching exercise.

Also, guest executives from leading B2B and B2C companies will share their experience with the aim of furthering students' knowledge and make visible the attractiveness of job opportunities in B2B environments and their ecosystems.

40% Final presentation (Design and pitching).
