Course Learning Objectives

This is a course with an eminently practical orientation focused on three important issues that arise in multinational companies. The first adopts an individual perspective and analyses the most efficient strategies of getting a job and having professional success within multinational companies. The other two topics adopt an organizational perspective. The second one examines the implications of cultural diversity for people management, and the last one focuses on the management of international assignees and global teams.

Methodology

The course will draw on the abundant evidence and research around the three topics outlined and will make use of a variety of teaching tools and initiatives, including group presentations, discussions, videos, and case studies.
