Course Learning Objectives
In this course you will learn:
*What are energy systems and their relation to climate change
*How to evaluate impacts related to energy technologies
*To understand the most important energy policies and their related socio-environmental impacts
Methodology
This is a hands-on course that combines lectures with individual exercises and group work. We will complete debates, a role play, quizzes, article reviews, presentations and videos. The group work is based on case studies about the energy transition.
Assessment criteria
You will be evaluated according to the following shares:
* 10% is attendance and in class participation
* 50 % for individual deliverables (in between 5 and 7)
* 40% for a group project
