Previous Knowledge

COURSE CONTRIBUTION TO PROGRAM

Tech Dialogue is an immersive course that offers students the unique opportunity to interview experts from industry and academia on topics related to AI, ML, and technology.

Throughout the course, students will take on the dual role of interviewer and dialogue participant, taking charge of preparing and conducting live interviews with renowned professionals from various domains within the tech industry. These experts will share their wealth of knowledge and experiences, providing invaluable insights into their career journeys, the challenges they face within their companies, and the strategies they employ to tackle these challenges. By engaing in thoughtful conversations with the experts, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the intricate nuances of AI, ML, and technology in general. They will explore topics such as cutting-edge research, emerging trends, ethical considerations, organizational structures, and real-world applications.

This will help them develop essential communication skills, including effective questioning techniques, active listening, and the ability to critically analyze and synthesize information. They will learn how to prepare in-depth interviews, create thought-provoking questions, and adapt their approach to different interviewees and topics. By the end of the course, students will have gained a profound appreciation for the complexities and possibilities within the tech industry.

At the end of the course students will have:

- Gained an understanding the realities of technology deployment: Students will explore the practical aspects of technology deployment, learning about the organizational structures, strategies, and considerations involved in designing and implementing cutting-edge technologies. They will gain a realistic perspective on the challenges faced by tech companies and how they navigate them.

- Enhanced their communication skills: By actively participating in dialogue and conducting live interviews, students will refine their communication abilities, including effective questioning techniques, active listening, and the synthesis of complex information.
